  Does anyone know of I high ranking elder in the Canada region named Lorne Morton?

  he lived in winnipeg for quite a time frome what i hear.

  He travelled all over Canada and met everyone on the governing body and worked with them. I know this because all the older brothers that I've talked to across Canada talk about him and know him.

  Boundary Changes for Congregations and Secrecy

  right now the congregations in winnipeg are undergoing major boundary changes which will be put in action at the beginning of february.

  our congregation is supposed to find out today but i decided to ask some people i knew who went the previous meeting if we were going to be put together with the people at our old congregation who are shunning me.

  even though they knew, they refused to tell me because "the society" told them not to tell us.

  in my case it was my best freind in the cong who decided to encourage me to answer up at the wt by... refusing to talk to me afterwards if i hadn't answered up!

  Several things such as

  Be thankful you dont live in bible times because you would have been stoned to death.

  Its good you have no friends at school, the society tells us not to associate with worldly people anyways!

  An elder threatening disfellowshipping if only I was baptized (I didnt do anything disfellowshipping worthy even in the eye of the Watchtower!)

  shunning me to encourage me to stop talking about politics and any other controversiall topics to keep the "unity" going.

  Yes they are shrinking. Everyone is dying! Our old congregation was made up of 90% seniors!

  I agree there has to be some sort of organizing of congregations, but it justgets ridiculous
